The Impossible Plate

A mini-workshop series for solo founders drowning under the weight of everything on their plate

5 days to understand why your full plate feels impossible, and start to feel lighter without adding a single thing to your to-do list.

19–23 January 2026
9am EST / 2pm GMT / 3pm CET

(60 minutes per day)

You’re working constantly, yet you always feel behind.

You're waking up with dread. Already heavy before you even get out of bed. The week begins feeling out of control — fires, new requests, client work falling behind already.

Before the day is even over, you're exhausted. Before the week’s over, already depleted. And the cycle just keeps repeating — push, crash, regroup (albeit only slightly), repeat. Each round leaves you a little more drained than the last.

You're intelligent. You're driven. You've built something real.

So why does it feel like you're constantly treading treacle? Why does keeping this thing running seem to cost you everything you have?

You're not thinking about vision or strategy. You're not designing what's next. You're just trying to get through.

Scaling, stepping back, hiring someone you trust — it all feels impossibly far away when you can barely keep your head above water today.

Here's what's actually happening.

Overwhelm isn't one thing. It shows up in different ways: reactive, decision overload, delivery chaos.

But underneath all of them is something else.

Your full plate has become an impossible plate. Not because the work isn't real — it is. But something is adding weight to what's already heavy. Something practical and something emotional, working together to make everything feel more urgent, more critical, more impossible than it needs to feel.

And because it's hard to see when you're in it, you end up blaming yourself. Wondering if you're simply not cut out for this.

You are. Something else is going on — and it's both structural and personal.

Over 5 days, we'll work through it together
Part 2: The patterns that keep getting in the way

The practical and emotional patterns in your working week that compound the weight. Why this has felt so hard. Why you haven't been able to shift it on your own. This is where things start to change.

Part 3: Practical ways through

Methods to reduce the noise and create calm when everything feels heavy and urgent. Not more systems to manage. Ways to navigate what you're facing — using what you already have.

Part 1: What's actually going on

Exploring the points in your day and week that drain your time and energy unexpectedly. What's taking longer than you think it should? What keeps getting in the way? Most founders have a sense of this already — but it's not until we do this in a structured and deliberate way that the picture becomes clear enough to act on.

You'll walk away with:

  • Clarity on what's actually happening — not the swirling sense of "too much," but a real picture.

  • Understanding of why it's been so hard — and why it's not a personal failing.

  • Practical ways to navigate when your plate feels impossible — that don't add more weight.

  • And a sense that things can feel lighter.

This is for you if...

You run a service-based business with complex, detail-heavy client delivery.

You have a full client list — maybe even wish you had fewer. The work is there, but it's costing you everything to keep it running.

You've tried systems, tools, maybe even hired help. You're still the one holding it all together.

You're tired of advice that adds more to your plate or makes you feel like you're doing it wrong.

You don't need motivation. You need things to feel less impossible.

---------------

This workshop is not about...

Productivity hacks or "get organised" tips.

Another system to implement on your own.

Homework that piles up while you're trying to keep your head above water.

Generic advice from someone who doesn't understand the weight you're carrying.

Anything that will make you feel worse about yourself.

How It works...

Live working sessions, 19–23 January 2026

Eastern Standard Time: 09:00-10:00
Greenwich Mean Time: 14:00-15:00
Central Europe Time 15:00-16:00

This is collaborative — you'll be doing the work, not being talked at.

About The Facilitator

I'm an operations partner with nearly 30 years in tech and business, and 11 years of coaching experience. I work at the intersection of operations and psychology, helping solo founders build businesses that don't require them to hold everything together alone.

I know what it feels like to carry too much. To wonder why you can't make it work when you're doing everything right. To blame yourself for something you can't quite see clearly.

This event exists because I've learned that the solution isn't working harder or getting more organised. It's seeing what's actually going on — and having practical ways to navigate it.

FAQs

When is the event?

The event runs from January 19 to 23, 2026, starting at 9am EST / 2pm GMT.

How do I register?

Simply fill out the registration form at the bottom of this page to secure your spot for all five days.

Why daily instead of a full-day workshop?

Because you have a business to run. You can't take a day off for a workshop without everything piling up. And real shifts need time to land. Short, focused sessions give your subconscious brain processing time while you keep things moving in your business.

You will get the most out of this if you attend all the live sessions as each day is built carefully on top of the other.

Recordings will be available if you miss a day, but live is where the shift happens.

Can I miss a day?
Is the event free?

Due to the collaborative intention of the workshop, the group is kept small so that everyone gets the attention and time they need to make real progress. I try to keep the group size to a maximum of 20 solo founders.

What size is the event?

Yes, registration is completely free.

Will you be running another one of these events?

I don't have plans to run another event like this at the moment. If you are unable to attend this one or the event is full, please contact me and I will notify you when the next event is planned or suggest an alternative.

Is this event live or pre-recorded?

It's live! One of my core values is collaboration. I work best when I'm working with people, hearing their real problems and working in that moment to make changes. Attend this event and you'll get dedicated attention and hot-seat work if you put your hand up. I ensure this way of working by keeping my events small and intentional.
